On Saturday, February 17th at 0021hrs Sennett units and mutual aid were dispatched to a reported structure fire on County House Road

Upon arrival of the first chiefs, heavy smoke was found to be issuing from an approximately 10,000 sq.ft., multi-story, industrial facility. Additional resources were quickly requested, including a second RIT due to the size of the building.

First arriving companies established a water supply and as lines were stretched into near zero visibility, additional crews began to ventilate the structure. With improved visibility any remaining fire was extinguished and at 0230hrs. crews began overhaul. All units cleared the scene at 0440hrs.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

In addition to Sennett, the following agencies responded to the scene or provided coverage: Aurelius, Cayuga, Jordan, Mottville, Owasco, Skaneateles, Throop and Weedsport. Auburn City Ambulance provided EMS coverage. The CCOES sent Coordinators and provided Rehab and Fire Investigation.
